Problem – Aging server running legacy software not compatible with new Operating System 

Solution – Once we understood the problem and reviewed potential costs with not only upgraded the legacy software but also having to hire someone to install the newer program and update the database we concluded the best move would be to go to a cloud server.  We were able to image the server and upload to our data center.  Once we had the image loaded we were able to create a virtual server in the cloud.  Now users can access their legacy software inside and outside the office from any device.  This transfer occurred just in time because two days after the launch the old server died and was unrecoverable.
